Instead of flying between New York and Washington, DC, like a common traveler, Hillary Clinton wanted the Air Force to fly her — because she didn’t feel well enough to fly commercial, newly released emails show. An exchange from May 4, 2009, between Clinton and her closest aide, Huma Abedin, show the former secretary of state trying to figure out how to avoid the “burdensome” shuttle. The shuttle refers to hourly commercial plane service between New York and Washington, DC. “Do you think we could get a plane for Westchester flight back tonight?” Clinton wrote in an email released this week as part of an ongoing Judicial Watch Freedom of Information Act lawsuit against the State Department. “It’s going to rain all day and I still don’t feel great so the idea of playing a guessing game w the shuttle is really burdensome to me. What do you think? Could be anytime that works for the Air Force,” she added.

Her multi-day road trip to Iowa some time ago was a real indication that something ain’t right with her.

I’m not a Hillary fan, but if she can hitch a ride on a government plane that going where she wants to go anyway, what’s the problem?
She has more than enough money to charter a plane herself. She can back charge the commercial rate back to the Feds. What a tightwad!
If Amtrak is good enough for Joe Biden, then it ought to be good enough for her. If you count the time to and from the airports (unless her business is near JFK or LGA), the TSA groping and the whole nine yards, the Acela from Washington's Union Station to New York's Penn Station takes little more time and is almost as frequent as the commuter airlines.
That's not the way it works with political elites like Clinton. The expectation is that the Air Force is her private airline standing by to take her where she wants to go, not merely bumming a space-a ride to a place the Air Force just happens to be flying to(highly unlikely).
I despise Hillary Clinton with every fiber of my being.
Nonetheless, I’m not sure why the U.S. Secretary of State - a very public figure, as well as someone with lots of knowledge of classified information - should be riding a commercial aircraft. There’s just too much of a chance of the Secretary getting kidnapped, hurt or worse in an airport. Also, why would the Secretary of State have to sit around for hours and hours waiting for a commercial flight?
Again, I despise her - but her position at the time doesn’t seem to make flying commercial be the best idea.
Damn the next thing we’ll hear is Hillary is
using an invisible cane to walk with.
