Just asking, but did you read the article and understand her point?
She left the dark side and her welcome from you is a petty snide insult?
We ALL have moments where misspellings and other grammatical errors are in our postings and other writings. I suggest even you.
Grammatical and spelling errors are a “series” issue, but to reject her migration to the good side because of minor errors (and over-looking her message) is not something we should do.
Yes, she is expressing doubt as to the value of her "smug white liberal" allies, but she does not make the point to try to see conservative points. Her attitude is just simply that, because they're not black .. and that includes conservatives as well as the liberals that she's talking about .. they just can't understand and shouldn't participate in racial discussions.
She assures us, up front, that she's a "professional" highly educated black woman, yet she doesn't understand the difference between "conscious" and "conscience" (along with the fact that the proofreaders at Huffington Post don't seem to either).
My read of her article is simply a fancy way of saying that, until something is done .. blacks are given free passes for breaking the law, "resitution" paid for past slavery, and all of those other things that BLM and the Tan Klan demand that white people acquiesce to .. ALL white people (including her "smug white liberal" allies) are racial enemies.
She makes the specific point that it would be a waste of her time to try to convince Blacks to not support the Democratic Party, even after all of her discussion about its failures. So, no, I don't see this as "leaving the dark side" or "coming into the light" in any way, shape, or form.
Well stated.
Much better than a snipe insult.
