Actor Tom Arnold is arguing for gun control in the wake of his nephew's suicide.
The Sin City Saints star penned an emotional editorial, published in The Hollywood Reporter on Thursday, detailing his own 52-year history with firearms and the tragic story of his mentally unstable nephew, Spencer.

Most rational folks really do not need the NRA to inform them of that. I might be just a gunsmith but the last time I had any inclination or reality, a bullet sure was a lot quicker for self defense that 911.
I'd be willing to bet that Mr. Arnold will keep his guns with in close reach.

Poor Tom, he’s never heard of razor blades, knives, broken glass, keys, or any other thing that could used to commit suicide.
It easy to get wound up at times like this and make a fool out of yourself, but people on an even keel will know what’s going on here and understand the pain of the moment.

That's the foundation for almost all pleas for 'gun control'. Leftists morons are convinced that they themselves would do bad things if armed, and project their inadequacies onto the rest of us.
Interesting how these bleeding hearts never go on crusades for better mental health access or for more R&D for better drugs for those with mental issues or for better trained counselors/psychiatric workers. Nope, in his reality, it's the gun's fault his nephew was mentally ill to the point of taking his own life.

So if the suicide means is gas (in natural gas), Tom would make the same argument about controlling gas?
