Target announced Wednesday that it will spend millions of dollars to add single-stall bathrooms in its stores, months after it caught heat for its transgender bathroom use policy.
According to USA Today, about 1,400 of the retail giant's 1,800 stores already have single-stall restrooms that anyone can use. It will spent $20 million to add bathrooms to the 400 stores that do not have single-stall options.
its restroom policy allows transgender customers to use the restroom that aligns with their gender identity. Critics blasted the decision, and the store reportedly lost $10 billion after that — although company officials denied the loss had anything to do with its bathroom policy.
Target spokesperson Katie Boylan said the company is not changing its policy, but it's "listening" to some of the negative feedback it has received on the issue.

I believe that the whole transgender bathroom issue is a mere ploy dreamed up by the plumber’s union.
Pretty inefficient. Men will mostly use the men’s room. Perverted men of various types will use the ladies’ room. And a line of four women and girls will be outside of the mixed use single stall bathroom.

I think some Targets have merged the men’s & women’s shoes into just being ‘the shoe area’. I don’t understand the compulsion to deny that there are two different sexes.
There dressing rooms are now co-ed too. If you complain or question, you’re suddenly the Ugly Duckling.
It would be interesting to see what kinds of training seminars their managers are forced to attend and participate in.

I wouldn’t know. Ever since they announced their policy on bathroom; my family instituted a No Target policy. We simply refuse to enter the store for any reason. We have a choice on where we shop, and we choose ANYWHERE but Target.
Looking forward to ignoring their bankruptcy sales roo.
