The White House said Mr. Fugate “briefed the president on the resources that have been provided to support the response and recovery.” Mr. Obama directed FEMA to use “all resources available” to help in the recovery. But there were no changes in travel plans announced for the president, who is scheduled to stay on the island until Sunday.

Anyone remember the media SUPERSTORM over President Bush and Hurricane Katrina? The MSM crucified Bush'43 over his 'inaction' to this disaster in New Orleans in August of 2005. He too was on 'vacation' at his 'permanent' vacation residence at his Crawford, TX ranch and was kept waiting while the 'D' Louisiana Governor and 'D' New Orleans Mayor dithered about actual needs and responsibilities. Obvious differences between a 'storm' and a slower flood, but still, the reliable MSM biases lean towards the 'D' side!

I also remember Katrina and how they crucified Bush over that...and this hasn't been the only time that the press has covered for Barky when there has been a life ending problem in the United States...
