Yup. The Donald has known both Rudy and Newt for decades. Trump is an excellent judge of character and is a lot ally fanatic. He trusts those two implicitly.

Excellent assessment and conjecture. Thanks! Both are “real world” lawyers with strong, winning prosecutions on their resumes.

Newt’s skill set would be best leveraged and effective as Chief of Staff or Senior Advisor. He’s smart, has been down this road for years, knows the players and where the bodies are buried. :-)

I think Trump is quietly broadcasting who is going to be on his team and they will be adults and they WILL be in charge!

I think the posting of the articles is great. I didn’t really realize how much is out there, good stuff, on Trump, and how there is next to nothing on Hillary.

Trump was originally discussing Christie for that role, but Rudy would be great at it as well.

Just so. It's SOP for large scale developer/builders to bring in specialists as needed in the course of a project, starting with land/site acquisition, zoning & feasibility studies, planners, designers and engineers, etc. Each performs their tasks in preparation for the next phase, peeling off after their work is done. The Trump organization does this sort of thing every day and they do it exceedingly well. Light, tight, and effective machine, using the best resources in the most effective manner, as proved out by his unconventional but very effective campaign.
