The Christian Right embraces Jews and will defend them. The Atheist Left promulgates anti-semitism and will attempt to marginalize them, but most Jews favor supporting the Left. (The Exception being the Orthodox who are great allies.)

They are the Smartest people in the world, but for some reason they sometimes seem incapable of noticing the obvious.

One would have thought that their last close encounter with Socialism would have taught them to be leery of it.

1. If it were true, it doesn't justify this religious bigotry.
2. Even if your claim were true, conservatives should still pounce to discredit the left.
3. Define "Generally". The religiously observant Jews on American campuses are less liberal than you imagine. (I don't mean the non-observative Jews who might join a Hillel, come for one or two holidays and a party.)
4. Ever hear the expression "a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged?" Guess what, a lot of liberal Jews are getting mugged and will have to decide between being Jews and being leftists.
