ICYMI: Clinton’s Newest Empty Jobs Promise
Trump-Pence ^ | August 14 2016 | Trump Campaign

Posted on 08/14/2016 1:07:47 PM PDT by euram

Please read the following excerpts from “Why would anyone believe Hillary’s promise of 10 million jobs?” by The New York Post’s Editorial Board, 8/14/16

Hillary Clinton was scheduled to lay out her economic plans Thursday but instead spent much of her time bashing Donald Trump — and offering little of anything new.

No wonder: She has so little to offer, at least when it comes to jobs.

Clinton did repeat her claim Thursday that her economic plan would create 10.4 million jobs by 2026. She has said 640,000 of these will be in New York.

Ha! New Yorkers are still waiting for the 200,000 jobs she promised for upstate back in 2000, when she was running for the Senate.

Anyone who buys her new promises probably also believes she had no classified e-mails on her home-brewed server.

It doesn’t account for the cost of her programs. A Tax Foundation analysis of the net impact says Clinton’s plan would actually shrink the economy 1 percent and produce 0.8 percent lower wages — and 311,000 fewer jobs.

What do you expect? All told, Hillary’s tax hikes would suck $1.3 trillion from taxpayers’ pockets. How on earth is that supposed to create jobs?

And Clinton herself doesn’t pretend any new jobs on her watch would be true, private-sector-generated jobs.

Fact is, she’s really more interested in growing government than jobs. Which is too bad: With years of weak wage growth and record numbers of people out of the labor market, polls show Americans rank job-creation among their top priorities.

Yet all Hillary can do is make more of the same empty promises she’s already broken.

I think I read the other day that Hillary’s job creation “plan” is to assemble a committee of experts to study the problem and come up with suggestions.

I’m fairly certain that she will reject any suggestion they come up with that is not socialist. Which pretty much excludes any working suggestions.

I remember not long ago, Hillary was saying that she was going to turn “job creation and the economy” over to Bill. She was going to turn other stuff over to 0bama, leaving her essentially free to sleep all day.

200,000 promised jobs for upstate NY. ................. Its true she did. When she was asked how is she going to do it, she hesitated and then said; “Through my connections”. Yes she was short circuited, the connection never connected. (Oh, but rumor has it, there was a Tyson (???) processing plant built in Buffalo, it employs mostly Somalians who were placed there.) She obviously fell short of the 200K. The BIG lie rules! “Lock her up!” and I’ll add “Throw away the Key”.

Since NAFTA Hillary has been promising, “New, High paying jobs”. Once before I die, I would love for a reporter to ask,”Give us an example of one of these ‘New high Paying Jobs?”.

200,000 promised jobs for upstate NY. .....

Remember that from her run for the US senate in New York state. Business took me to upstate NY for a period of time several years ago. Became well acquainted with Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, etc., so when she was promising all these new jobs for that area it caught my attention. Six years in the US senate representing NY state and nothing ... typical Clintonian BS.

Here is PA I get to see the NY ads. NY State has an ad trying to get businesses to locate/relocate there, offering low taxes for the 1st 10 years. Low taxes, isn’t that a Republican idea that the dems claim is bad?

After 10 years of course the taxes go up and the business has earned their chains, now stuck in the sh&%hole known as NY.

In 2000 I was living in Albany, I saw her on TV and when she said 200,000 jobs, I said “I gotta see this!” It was enough to see the rally in Albany and the buses full of people coming in, and then having the boos edited out of the Fireman’s rally and having cheer sound tracts added. PHONY, PHONY, PHONY, and they still follow her like lemmings. Amerika, where common sense has been thrown out the window.

LOL, I remember that, the young Cuomo presenting the plan, my comment was, yeah, after 10 years, GOTCHA! Why the counties north Sullivan County have not seceded from NY is beyond me. Iroquoiland the 51st State.

Why would anyone believe Hillary's promise of 10 million jobs?

For the very same reason they believed in Obie's lies enough to elect him a second time even though he was an utter failure on the economy during his first four. FACT are never allowed to enter the LIBTARDS brain, only EMOTIONS and boy does this promise sound good (if you want a job and I fail to believe that most of her supports WANT a job).

I thought the witch promised to turn the economy over to Bill. Anyone asked her about that “plan” lately??

Ofc the Clintons don’t know the first thing about economics and job creation. Bill Clinton merely road the long coat-tails of the Reagan Revolution and thought that he had done it himself.

so do those 640,000 jobs in New York include the other 200,000 or will there be 840,000 new jobs for New York?

If you believe the government statistics Obama created close to 10 million jobs in the last four years alone. So is she saying she’ll create them at less than half the rate that Obama did?

Yeah, I was wondering when someone would absolutely POUND Hillary into the ground on this.

If the economy stinks as bad as it has under Obama, just what "new" and "fresh" ideas is she promoting?

Obama has DOUBLED the National Debt in 8 years, and we still have roughly zero actual growth.

Where did all that money go?

Did we repair our infrastructure?

Put a man on Mars?

Or is she tacitly admitting that everything Obama has done has decimated the US economy?

Why the MSM hasn't absolutely grilled her on Obama, and what SHE would do that's *different* is a mystery.
