Exactly. That is the not so subtle subtext of the MSM to Trump supporters, give up. Don't even bother. The MSM is Tokyo Rose, but without the humor.
I am very much concerned that there will NOT be a violent revolt should another election be stolen. If a stolen presidential election is not a sufficient cause for a violent uprising, we are well on the way to a state of tyranny.
I live in Raleigh and WRAL has been liberal for a long time!

This is what happens when an unrestricted flood of immigrants from the Northeast come into a state.
We lived in a Charlotte suburb of Waxhaw for a bit, but apparently, New Yorkers consider that spot a place to be. In what seemed overnight, easily 80% of our neighborhood turned into transplanted New Yorkers. Then the bitching started. “Why don’t we have this?” “Why don’t we have that?” “How come there’s no law to stop this?” “How come there’s no law to stop that?” Then they start complaining about the density of the development and the traffic — all while more and more move in from the northeast. Then they start complaining about how there needs to be more regulation to prevent this, that, and whatever. It got so exasperating that we packed up and moved to the mountains.
I predict North Carolina will turn solid blue between this election and the next...
...and it will never come back.
I remember when Jesse Helms worked at WRAL; he did a commentary after the evening local news. Quite conservative, and I think it helped him get elected to the Senate.
His commentaries were first of its kind in NC. A different viewpoint (I think Viewpoint was the name of his commentary). He was quite provocative. I was a kid and didn’t know what to think of him.
The only way Hillary could get in is MASSIVE VOTER FRAUD.

The election will come down to less than double digit swing states, imo. Many states are
set as to how they’ll vote, D/R and won’t be changed. Although this is a different
election than normal with a candidate like Trump I don’t see major changes. Heck they
maybe counting votes like in FL back when Bush won. We’ll see.
Good to read (that Clinton is hated down there in your part of NC!) I am in the Raleigh area and I am afraid it’s just the opposite here.

OH, how I miss “Senator No” = Jesse Helms. Yes, I can remember his WRAL commentaries. I am sure WRAL today cringes at the thought of once hosting his program.

I agree. Many of these polls may be bogus. However, the only way to be sure of a Trump Victory is to get active and work for a win.
How fortunate you were to be able to attend Senator Helms’ 80th birthday celebration.
I attended his funeral service in Raleigh which was attended by several other Senators and other “bigwigs”. The church was packed to overflowing. Senator Helms was a Southern Christian gentleman. How I have missed him!
In NC and GA , in August and Sept they all gave the Dem candidates huge leads which were dead wrong .
