“As the people of Nevada learn the truth about Question One gun control initiative, opposition mounts," said Robert Uithoven, campaign director of NRA Nevadans for Freedom. "Governor Sandoval knows that Question One would not prevent criminals from obtaining firearms and would instead cost Nevadans time, money, and freedom. We’re excited to have Governor Sandavol join the growing coalition of Nevadans committed to defending freedom from Bloomberg’s extreme gun control agenda.”

Question 1, financed by former New York City Mayor and anti-gun activists Michael Bloomberg, is part of Bloomberg’s national gun-control agenda that will make it more difficult for law-abiding citizens to exercise their Second Amendment right to self- protection without preventing criminal activity with firearms.

Hmmm. Well that's a good thing. He could have sat on the sidelines and not done anything. He did shut down a similar bill last session so this is a plus. The ever protective nannie bloomers and the momunists, who know what's best for every one, have already ponied up in excess of $3 million to get this piece of crap passed in Nov. The pro gun folks have amassed around $30,000 to fight it. The usual promises to the uninformed. NO more gun violence, NO more domestic violence. Just sign here. Thanks to Gov. Sandoval. And to majority of Sheriff's(Thanks Chuck Allen WCSD) in the state who also oppose this. Money and resources that could be put to a whole lot better use.

When the initiative was first proposed, even the Reno Gazette Journal(hardly a bastion of conservatism) opposed it.

Sadly we have to contend with the IPOS clowns in Las Vegas who basically control the outcome of the general (s)elections. Even though hairy screed ain’t running again, he still has WAY too much influence with the assclown unions down there.
