The greatest service Trump has done to the country so far is to demonstrate there has been a uniparty in Washington in the past 30 years. There is no difference between GOP and Demo, they just play good cop/bad cop con games on American people. Every four years, GOP pretends to challenge status quo by fork out issues like abortion and school choice that they know will never get reversed. They pretend to fight and then throw the towel and be bipartisan every four years, going back their role of the enforcers of Demo’s various deals. So this election is not old cliché of GOP vs. donkey party, it is American people vs. the DC mafia.
