"WATCH, FLASHBACK: Hillary Apologizes For Inciting Supporters To “Assassinate” Obama Like “Robert Kennedy” Was" It’s being claimed by his unhinged haters that Donald Trump today was inciting his supporters to assassinate Hillary Clinton, which is exactly what Hillary was accused of during her 2008 Presidential campaign. Hillary’s comments were called “beyond the pale” by DEMOCRATS. Which sure doesn’t sound like they reflect the judgement and temperment of a person qualified to be President.

Excerpted from The New York Times, May 24, 2008: Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton defended staying in the Democratic nominating contest on Friday by pointing out that her husband had not wrapped up the nomination until June 1992, adding, “We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.”

Her remarks were met with quick criticism from the campaign of Senator Barack Obama, and within hours of making them Mrs. Clinton expressed regret, saying, “The Kennedys have been much on my mind the last days because of Senator Kennedy,” referring to the recent diagnosis of Senator Edward M. Kennedy’s brain tumor. She added, “And I regret that if my referencing that moment of trauma for our entire nation and in particular the Kennedy family was in any way offensive.”

Still,............

I heard Trump....I didn't get anything he said as threatening or inciting a threat against Hillary.

Is the press nuts? Oh, never mind.

You’re exactly right...but let’s face it ... neither one of these people is a mental giant.

They are NOT statesmen, or academics or even especially well educated....

They’re certainly NOT well spoken... because it’s pretty clear they are NOT readers.

Those days are over.... All that money in American politics has certainly taken its toll.

I watched it live as well. As soon as he made that statement, my head went down. I totally took it the way it is being pushed by the media. I’m not alone on this. The news was showing a guy in the background that seemed quite surprised when trump said it.
He was riffing. He was trying to be funny. He goes off script quite a bit and many times, no problem. Some of the times, it backfires.

We've all been conditioned by the Leftist press to not challenge them, to be afraid of their judgement, to pick and choose our words for fear of their wrath.

The Left is use to being in control of the narrative and the typical ranch-raised GOP milquetoast candidate is trained from birth to roll over on his back at the first sharp word from the MSM.

Trump is breaking the mold. He is signaling, either by his nature or design, he's not going to allow others to control his speech or his thoughts. He has broken the hold the MSM is use to having, and they are beside themselves. It is as if a very bad dog owner, who is use to whipping his dogs into submission, is suddenly surprised when one of the dogs latches onto the owner's throat.

Excellent point.

We get no bonus points for toeing the line the media has set for us.

Let Trump be Trump.

Given your intellectual stature and command of the English language, I am surprised that you aren’t the populist conservative standard bearer. Hillary’s track record has proven that she is a moron, Trump’s track record seems to indicate the opposite.

Though I'll certainly vote for him, Trump ‘misspeaks’ often and unnecessarily.

He needs to clean up his act and stop stooping to HER level.

I rather listen to Trump's misspeaks than hill's lies.

I get a kick out of Trump's misspeaks. How many times has he done that, the media gets in a tizzy, then Trump comes out with facts and the media has to eat crow...which they don't because there's no one around to spoon feed them.

We should all watch TV shows and news broadcasts from the 60's, 70's and 80's. People spoke differently back then. Trump is still in that era and bringing it back. LOL
