The South Shore of MA has some really nice spots.

BUT they don’t have the cache’ of Cape Cod...and so “Cape Traffic” is legendary.

There are alternate routes, but they are rural, go through town centers, and have LOTS of Red Lights and STOP signs.

There were 1.5 million Purple Hearts made for WW2 (mostly in anticipation of the ground invasion of Japan). They are still being awarded after having been refurbished, but there also a number of Purple Hearts manufactured more recently.
