Paul Ryan‘s famous words sure are proving to have an impressive shelf life.
Back on Thursday May 5th, the House Speaker appeared on The Lead with Jake Tapper on CNN, just two days after Texas Senator Ted Cruz dropped his own Presidential bid, effectively making Donald Trump the party’s presumptive nominee. When Ryan was asked about formally endorsing Trump at the time, he responded, “I’m just not ready to do that at this point. I’m not there right now.”

When Trump refuses to endorse Ryan, it’s when the victor will be another Republican. When Ryan and Rove refuse to endorse Trump, it’s when the victor will be Hilary.

Not a surprise. I think the GOPe were truly surprised when Trump didn’t immediately endorse Ryan. I have a feeling he will late this weekend or sometime on Monday.
