Clinton surges to big lead in McClatchy-Marist poll

WASHINGTON Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has surged to a 15-point lead over reeling, gaffe-plagued Republican Donald Trump, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll.

Clinton made strong gains with two constituencies crucial to a Republican victory – whites and men – while scoring important gains among fellow Democrats, the poll found.

Can others look at the methodology behind this. I'm looking at it and the main thing that strikes me is seeing the "Party Identification" and this has those surveyed at 25% "Strong Democrats" versus 17% "Strong Republicans, with the total Dem versus Repub sample at 50% versus 38%. It is so obvious what this is about and (for the lack of a better analogy, forgive me) it comes across like a woman wearing a loud, cheap perfume or has a run in her pantyhose.

Trump certainly seems to struggle in the polls. However, when you examine the internals, the struggling is certainly minimal. We also need to remember that many polls are manufactured to support a media narrative. Conservatives and other Trump supporters are being “gaslighted” by the MSM, GOPe, and DNC. Unfortunately, instead of steeling our resolve and fighting harder most of us retreat to savaging our own standard bearer and succumbing to the vapors.
