I think we’ve got a better chance to take out McCain. It’s a two way race and he is up against a strong candidate. OTOH, Wisconsin voters proved in the primary they are GOPe sheep. I expect they will do as told and reelect Ryan.
McCain has a primary opponent and the primary is August 30. Right now it a dead heat, with a little luck McCain is gone this cycle.

I don’t think we know the half of what he has done to hurt this nation. We do know he advocated for arming the Muslem Brotherhood in the Libyan region. As fluid as those areas are, that meant he wanted to supply al Qaeda and I’m sure some of that wound up with ISIS.
I wouldn’t doubt those arms figured in the killing of our diplomats too.
Then he worked his magic in Syria as well.
As I said, we don’t know the half of it.

Did he go too far? I think the answer depends upon whether one thinks that this issue benefits Trump or hurts him. Some people think that it’s hurting him with voters, but other people (including apparently Trump) think that Trump is benefiting from this fight. If the fight is helping him, then he will keep the issue burning brightly.
