Tim Cook is planning a fundraising event for Hillary Clintons presidential campaign, according to an invitation obtained by BuzzFeed News. The fundraiser is scheduled for August 24th and will be undertaken by Cook as a private citizen, rather than as a representative of Apple.
Cook also hosted a fundraiser for Republican Speaker of the House Paul Ryan earlier this summer, indicating support for both parties. Thus far, he has not made any such gesture to Republican nominee Donald Trump, who called for a boycott of Apple products earlier this year.
Campaign finance records show Apple employees have donated money to both Democratic and Republican campaign committees in the 2016 cycle, although Democratic donations have largely outstripped Republican ones. Employees have collectively donated over $150,000 to both the Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders campaigns. The most donations to a Republican presidential candidate went to Ted Cruz, who received just over $9,000.

"Apple CEO Tim Cook plans to host a fundraiser that will benefit Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, reports BuzzFeed. Cook, along with Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president of environment, policy, and social initiatives, will host the event as private citizens, not as representatives of Apple."
This is far different from Alphabet/Google putting the power of the search engine behind denigrating searches for Donald Trump like they did for the previous Republican candidates, or preferentially prioritizing negative articles over positive articles for those candidates and doing the opposite for the Democratic candidates, posting only positive articles for Democrats and burying the negative articles multiple pages deep regardless of the pertinence of the results to the search.
Yes the system is rigged.
