CLEVELAND - A discussion over the upcoming presidential election ended with a Cleveland man in the hospital, shot in the thigh, and the gunman on the loose.
Paul Jones, Jr., 60, was at his neighborhood bar Winston's Place near E. 131st Street and Miles Avenue around 6 p.m. Monday, talking politics with a friend.
Jones, an Air Force Vietnam War veteran, just happens to be a staunch Donald Trump supporter -- something that didn't sit well with a man nearby.
"He butted in the conversation," Jones said, speaking from his hospital bed. "The conversation wasn't directed at him or to him."
It escalated from there in a way no one ever imagined.
The man got so upset, he went out to his car -- and came back with a gun.
Cleveland police said he shot Jones in the thigh, then walked out -- effectively ending the debate.
"I'm quite sure you have a lot of people having their own opinions. But that doesn't mean you should hurt somebody because you have your own opinion," Jones' mother Latosca added.
Detectives are still searching for the shooter. He will be charged with felonious assault.
Jones is expected to make a full recovery.
So much for Black Lives Matter.

They are stealing Trump signs every night in my community. I know people who have recording video cameras and spot light on motion sensors just to have free speech in their yards. They cannot stand this. They will try to steal the election . They are in total panic.
They shot him for being an “Uncle Tom.”

The shooting was a function of low intelligence coupled with poor impulse control. The shooter was unable to pause ten seconds before shooting and thus having shot a person faces consequences which he failed to foresee.
Maybe it’s ‘black obama supporter lives matter’. Trump supportin’ black guys? Not so much. Now who’s the dangerous ones? Well, I guess it ain’t “now”.
Yet another tolerant, broad-minded, inclusive, peace-loving demonicrat commits a violent crime.

I stopped going to bars about four years ago. There are too many gubmint pensioners and Democraps in bars. I got into a bar argument argument about Hillary Clinton’s lies about Benghazi right after it happened. Let those a**holes drink and eat themselves to death.

Another thought on this. Thinkin’ Donald needs to have this guy say a few words. You know like: “Being a black veteran supporting Mr. Trump, as I do, is not easy. See the bullet hole in my leg?”
Just imagine if a Trumper had shot a Hillary Clinton supporter. We’d be hearing about it non stop 24/7 from the propaganda wing of the Democrat party.
The shooter is definitely headed for jail.
