Former Commanding General, 101st Airborne Division, at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He had a Brigade of the 82nd in Afghanistan around 2010 when Gen Petraeus ran International Security Assistance Force there. Campbell took over that position from 2014-2016.

Who knows, with Democrats in charge for both disasters anything is possible.
