I also did not know that before any presenter at the convention speaks, he/she has to show the speech. Cruz did that but when he actually gave the speech he went off script said what he wanted then went back to the teleprompter. Trump called that dishonest just like not honoring your pledge.
I don’t remember any of the past Presidential nominees having a press conference to thank RNC volunteer in Cleveland. Classy.
I imagine they will pay all their bills on time too.

Really wish he hadn’t rehashed the primary fight with Ted Cruz today bringing up Heidi and Ted’s dad, saying the National Enquirer should get a Pulitzer Prize. I just did a long post proving that Cruz gave as good as he got on that despite media lies. Actually, Trump’s “attacks” were counter punches to a negative Melania ad and to Cruz’s dad attacking him.
That said, now the media will talk about how he’s not Presidential, and it will take focus off his well received speech. I know Trump wants to defend himself, but was there a need? Trump looked like the bigger man after what Ted did. No need to say a word. Cruz hung himself. Silently revel in it.
Indeed. Let's NEVER forget that this incredible accomplishment happened with Kasick totally ignoring his obligations as host Governor, and refusing to honor the pledge he signed to support Trump. It's a stellar example of what happens when people pull together to accomplish a goal, and work on what they share rather than dwell on what separates them.
The wonderful irony is that this is what Mr. Trump is advocating for the country, working together to Make America Great Again. Just like the CLE got it together and now Cleveland is Great Again!

Watched the entire conference on Varney and it was great. Not very many could pull this off...totally unscripted, interesting, funny, and informative.
I got a kick out of watching Mike Pence in the background cracking up at Trump...it was very good!
TRUMP wanted to convey to Cruz that Cruz is NOT going to
be a part of the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION, not now, not ever.
Cruz chose to burn a very big bridge in order to make a
petulant point; made his bed and will lie in it.

Me too . I watched for Pence’ reactions. He has a look of not believing what Trump is getting away with. He is like a sponge absorbing all this. Pence also looks like he is quite enjoy the Trump candor.
You have to let Trump be Trump. He has done quite well and trust that he will win the prize. Give him a break!

I have had friends contact me who were stolid Cruz supporters, telling me they are now convinced and will be sending money to Trump’s campaign. I am speechless after MONTHS of arguing and fighting with them. They have FINALLY seen the light.
I believe Trump will unite America. Nobody will get everything they want, but we will all go back to being FREE AMERICANS. The land of the free and the home of the brave WILL return if Trump is elected.
I disagree. Trump should say everything h wants to say. I support the First Amendment. Being “Presidential” is what happens from ACTIONS which speak a lot louder than words. I DO NOT WANT a wussy president. We’ve had enough of them. I want a Patton who will WIN for America even if what he says turns the air blue.
