Thew Obama Admin. has continually been on the wrong side in this war on terrorism. It is obvious from the beginning the plan was to make the U.S. weaker. Well, either that, or he is the biggest idiot ever in the WH and that’s saying something since we once had Carter there.
And are there really nukes stored in Turkey? Seems to be conflicting information suggesting they were long ago removed.
And Stalin’s purge of army officers starting in 1937 didn’t weaken the red army either. Hopefully he is just saying this to be “polite”.
Hate to bread it to the NATO Secretary-General but Turkey’s professional army just became a rabble because Erdogan removed 1/3rd of the officers (no doubt the most effective ones). We’re doing the sale thing here with Obama’s slow-motion purge and the various accomodations to the LGBT-M-O-U-S-E. groups.

About 13% of Turkey’s economy is tourism, that’s going to zero immediately.
30% of the economy is agriculture, with the coming loss of property rights and ensuing corruption/cronyism maybe they lose 1/3 of productivity.
So maybe one quarter of the economy disappears in the very near future.
Turkey is fighting a proxy war against Russia and Iran within Syria. Russia provides 55% of Turkey’s natural gas imports. Turkey controls the bosphorus strait. Turkey and Russia have fought 12 wars in the last 500 years.

Because if they admitted that a fanatical Muslim terrorist regime is now in effective control of bunch of nuclear bombs they would have to run for cover as the screaming grew to a massive roar.
Never in my life have I ever imagined that the U.S. would allow such a thing to happen. That base should have been secured by U.S. fighters and SOCOM forces on Day 1. There should not be a Turk AF aircraft within striking distance.
Knowing obama, did you think he would? Rescue American troops.
