He would have to renounce his US citizenship and be granted citizenship from a nation that was not a member of the UN security council for that to happen.
80 years, 3 days. I have a Mauser model 1916 short rifle that is unmarked, suggesting it was built during The Republic. I took it out to the range on Sunday. Still shoots straight but at $1.15 a pop it doesn't make it out much.

It really doesn’t matter what he claims, he has almost zero power over the electoral process, which is run by the states. Only the Justice department can exert some influence, and only on states covered by provisions of the Voting Rights Act, and that needs to be done well prior to an election, not in the midst of one or afterwards. Obama simply has no legal recourse to suspend or set aside an election, so he can only do so illegally, as in a violent coup like the author discusses.
Well, Smith was court-martialed. It appears that 2,500 is likely the best number, and how many of those were combatants is unknown.

Reloading is a fun hobby. If you do not have the equipment yourself, save the brass. It could be reloaded for about 25 cents a round.

Who would stop him? Congress? The courts? Media? The people?

Nope. The USSS is an Executive Branch department [of the Treasury] and in the event of conflict of orders regarding Executive Branch protectees or the arrest of same, their orders are to allow those orders to be carried out by U.S. Marshals...who are NOT sworn to support/defend the Constitution, nor to obey Executive Branch orders...but to obey the orders of the Federal Judiciary.

Sure; that’s an issue with older guns. A friend had an old Spanish pistol for which it was difficult to find ammo.
Up until WWI or so it used to be the custom pof the Army that when an officer who had served in the hot spots of the Insurrecto would enter an officer's Mess, the senior man present would order: Rise, gentlemen. He served on Samar. One of those noting the custom was a young Lieutenant George Smith Patton, later Captain. Another was his commanding officer, General John J. Black Jack Pershing, who had himself served as a Captain and Major on Mindanao and Sulu against the Moros.
