Dr. Khlifa Al-Makhrazi. The head of the Family Consultative Council in Dubai, speaking on Sky News Arabia TV, discussed the new Pokémon Go rage. Dr. Al-Makhrazi declared that playing this game is prohibited, in keeping with a recent fatwa by Al-Azhar and by "some jurisprudents." He further explained that Pokémon Go is "genuinely and directly" linked to Darwinism and to the theory of evolution. He concluded by saying that anybody playing the game is a spy. I wonder why he used the word “Darwinism” instead of the word “evolution”...?
With improvements in the current generation being passed to future ones, it seems more like Lamarckian evolution rather than Darwinian. The actual usage of the game getting the stupid to walk off cliffs or into traffic is Darwinian.

Dubai is creating their own game called “Allah Akbar GO”, where you track down Christians and Jews, women not wearing veils or out in public without a male relative, homosexuals etc. Then you throw a “Sharia Ball” at them, which is really just a large rock with the Islamic crescent moon and star on it. The motto of the game is “Gotta’ punish them all...in the name of the prophet”.

Yes, I remember tossing kids from our martial arts studio back in the 90’s( thanks for the memories) because they were so enthralled with collecting and trading pokemon stuff they were not focusing on the lessons. Again I completely forgot, thanks.

Am I the only one who thinks the whole Pokémon thing (not just Pokémon Go - the whole concept) has issues? You catch these creatures, train them up, and set them to fighting each other - how is that any different from virtual dog fighting or cock fighting? I suspect Dog Fighting Go or Cock Fighting Go would not be so popular, except with Mike Vick and a bunch of Hispanics.......
