if Mr Trump likes Gov Pence, so be it
but
just curious,
because often presidential candidates select VP’s that will help them win the electoral votes for election

would Gov Pence do this? or would someone who is well known across the country....and who is a strong campaigner....do it?

And what % of the population will remotely come that conclusion?

No one knows who this dude is. I’m in Michigan and I have barely any idea who he is.

He is a nobody, and Trump needs a visual attack dog that isn’t going to pull punches because he may be more afraid of the church ladies back home than Hillary.

The one worlders and cheap labor express would LOVE to have Pence rather than Trump. He is as easy to roll as John Boner.

If it is anyone from the fantasy list, I still say it will be Sessions...

“An establishment VP will destroy the country for 30 more years (like when Reagan picked establishment Bush)”

Maybe, but again Trump isn’t Reagan. And Pence hasn’t formally got the nod, so there’s still hope for a better choice.

I don’t know much about Pence - but Trump needs an experienced politician who can speak well, looks good on camera, and above all, can push back against the national media, who will have their knives out.

I remember when Ross Perot picked the war hero and very admirable man - James Stockdale. The MSM b@stards couldn’t care about his record or views, only that he stumbled at times when in front of the camera.

We live in an entertainment world, run by nasty leftist, with a lot of shallow voters. Whoever it is must be ready for these things.

I’m going to trust Mr. Trump to make the best choice. No one is perfect. Mr. Trump has to choose the person he can trust the most to work as part of the team, and to have the energy and vision to handle a Trump-style campaign.

Misdirection before an announcement on Thursday?

(I’m hoping.)

"PENCE"

=========================================

I have in my hand the last question: Who would add virtually nothing to the Trump ticket?

Any chance the GOPe have been able to use the rules committee threat to negotiate “their guy” onto Trump’s ticket?

Sort of how Reagan got stuck with Poppy.

I’m edgy about Newt because of his baggage. But I’d take Newt, AND his baggage over milquetoast pantywaist Pence. Newt is a capable campaigner who can out LOGIC and out ARGUE anyone the Krintons can send out.

If he chooses Pence, it’s to shore up Republican support. Trump needs to get 95% of Republicans to win.
