I recently saw a report on this body of water and the comment was made that if someone ingested as little as 3 teaspoons of the water they had a 99% chance of becoming very ill.
It wasn't "just" raw sewage being pumped directly into the water, but there was a lot of trash as well so I can imagine all sorts of things being flung into the air!
