Indeed you may be on to something. According to the State Dept, the number of citizens who have surrendered their passports and ‘upped sticks; has increased five fold over the past generation; and these are from the entrepreneurial class not the darkies w/a half dozen out of wedlock.Ominous indeed!

Perhaps South Korea, Taiwan and other free regions of the Far east could take up the mantle.

I think South Korea faces some of the same problems as Japan (low birthrate, aging population), though not nearly to the same extreme degree.

In spite of this, Japan, Korea etc have one advantage over their European and American counterparts: they reject multiculturalism and their young people are taught to respect their native cultures rather than to despise them.
