I believe I have watched the movie several times. I don't remember though if I ever watched it in a movie theater.
It was a great movie indeed.

Probably not - was a made-for-TV movie, aired on the NBC network if I recall correctly. They did a good production for a TV show - all star cast - a lot of talent in one place we'll probably never see the likes of again.

I was eleven when this happened. I recall doing a fist pump when I heard of the rescue, and referring to the terrorists with a combination of words my folks would have slapped me for if they’d been in earshot. The Israeli commandos became my heroes on that day.
