God does not want us to use Satan’s weapons. What put us over the edge towards victory in the last two world wars was prayer and fasting, and I do wonder how many people expected FDR to call for that or if he had to be talked into it.
Perhaps, but God also told others to wipe some out to the last man/child/woman ( I realize that's Old testament, but I'm not sure I know of Him telling us to roll over for those that would destroy us).
I doubt we can pray and fast our way ahead of the democrats...or the terrorists.
That actually was Plan B before the Israelites lost faith in God and sinned; Plan A was God Himself driving out the nations bit by bit from the former land of Canaan. Either way, when called on to fight, that must not be fled from either of course.
Just one more reason to not use FB anymore than absolutely necessary.
On my account I have zero friends on purpose and I only use it to access certain groups I belong to because I have no choice in the matter. That’s just how they set up the groups.
I prefer to be ready instead of on my knees and weak from hunger. With the advent of the New Covenant, God has stopped so much of the active intervention.
That’s a bit of a false dilemma to presume that fasting and prayer has to preclude battle readiness. Don’t forget the miracle God performed for Hezekiah against the Assyrian army.
