The federal government needs to compile a list of women who shouldn’t be allowed to get abortions. The criteria for getting on the list must be flexible. If an official at, say, the NIH or FBI think that a woman should be a mother for some reason or other, he or she can block an abortion. Maybe the woman has great genes or a high IQ or the sorts of financial resources we need in parents. Let’s leave that decision where it belongs: in the hands of the government.

The thing is: a list like this would be much more likely to save a life than the no-gun list.
One is as as valid as the other.
Liberals say constitutional rights need to be regulated for the common good.
What goes for guns is equally applicable to abortion.

Maybe even philosophically closer to this would be the way that CPS and the like will take a child out of what it believes is an impending abuse situation. So if they believe the child will be hacked up, away goes the mother to a rubber room until the child has been delivered.

Even to say this in jest is to admit that one is not the kind of Small Government Constitutionalist that we used to call a “Conservative”. The federal government needs to leave us alone, Jonah! Make the argument on limited powers or natural law.
Don’t buy their perversion of the Republic and try to nudge it in what you think would be a “good” direction. We need a total restoration of the Constitutional Republic. There is only one man right now who can do that, Donald J Trump.
In fact, our modern lefties are generating an alternative “God” in the government.
So if it starts to act like that, it should be no surprise to them.
However, I think conservatives ought to resist the temptation, because we’re only arguing about how the idol behaves, not whether it’s an idol at all.
Sometimes it’s quick, sometimes it’s slow, but it’s never late; when God is embraced miracles occur.
These lists are mostly a waste of resources (Can the gov't watch one million peeps on a watch list 24/7?), just an excuse for all sorts of lame actions and inactions, and a Yuge incursion on Civil Rights.

Well, my friend, that is not how the Bible says that it will end, and the Bible is the Divine Revelation of that part of the Word of God that we need to understand. It is a Revelation of the Boundary Conditions on the World. Bible prophesy doesn’t predict things, it makes things happen.
The nation that has killed 60 million babies is under judgement from YHWH. He is done with the United States of America.
We have been under judgement ever since the 1962 School Prayer ruling. The first official Muslim Brotherhood front organization founded in the U.S. was the Muslim Students Association (MSA), established on the Urbana-Champaign campus of the University of Illinois in 1964. The Muslim Brotherhood is a type of the Assyrian that YHWH used to bring judgement on the 10 tribes that made up Israel. Al Qaeda is an off-shoot of the Muslim Brotherhood. Their 9/11 attack was a perfect fulfillment of Isaiah 9:8-13.
Since the 1973 Roe v. Wade things have really gotten worse. Since then we have never won a war, before then we never lost one. With Obama we finally got Isaiah 3:4-5 “I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. The people will be oppressed, everyone by another and every one by his neighbor; The child will be insolent toward the elder and the base to the honorable.”
All this moral decay was codified by Judges, just as the moral decay in Sodom and Gomorrah was, according to the Jewish sages, was codified by Judges. That puts us as “in the days of Lot” (Luke 17:28-37). The “great sign in the heavens” from Revelation 12:1-2 actually occurs on September 23-24, 2017. As for Donald Trump, I view him as a type of Samson, whom YHWH raised up to bring down the Temple of Dagon on the Philistines. Read Judges 13-16 and then look at the characteristics Donald Trump shares with Samson: Doesn’t drink, ever; has really wild hair; is really harsh if you treat him badly or unfairly; ran around with a lot of foreign women.
Now look at Donald Trump’s slogan: “Make America Great Again”. Alexis de Tocqueville said: “America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.” Donald Trump knows that in a country overrun with Philistines one can not campaign on “Make America Good Again”. However, if you look at what he says he will do, how offended he is by people lying about him, how offended he is with dirty tricks, how he hates the corruption in American government, etc. you know that he is trying to do is make America good again. So Donald Trump is bringing people out of the shadows, so to speak, and giving them hope that things can be better. This puts them out in the world where the Holy Spirit can bring believers into contact with those who are to be saved. So that is the spiritual aspect of the Trump campaign.
On the Bible Prophecy side, how is YHWH going to convince the Iranians that 2017 would be about the last time they, with their allies, can wipe out the United States and attack Israel to wipe it off the map?
How about we elect Donald Trump and he starts to make the American Military so strong that no one will want to mess with us? How about if he starts to root out the Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the Government? In fact, the threat of having Donald Trump in the Whitehouse may well trigger the attack that is described in Ezekiel 38:10-13, which YHWH does not stop, so that the attack in Ezekiel 38:14-23, which YHWH will stop can take place. Then the End will come.
When the world gets to these critical points, there isn’t anything one can do to change the course set by YHWH for the world. It is much easier if you focus on that narrow way YHWH has for you to do as your part in His magnificent Word.

I’m not speaking of mixing the secular government and the church’s sphere, in fact if you have followed me you will see I have protested vigorously against such a mix. Church is for voluntary attendees. A country is for whoever was born there.

If we’re going to take away a constitutional right by putting a name on a list, why not a first amendment right? How about, dangerous people can’t practice a certain religion?
The thought of abortion for convenience is repugnant
Thus, the thought of abortion for the sake of convenience does not appeal to me. I am not saying that we should abandon our efforts to save baby seals and a host of other animals. Rather I am saying shouldn’t we consider adding human fetuses and babies to the list?

That is a nice fairy tale, but that is not how the Bible says how evil will be ended in the world. If man could have done it, then there would be no need for God to come as a Man to die for our sins.
Read the entire book of The Revelation of Jesus Christ. In the last days, Satan is given free reign to deceive many, terrible judgments are visited on the people on the earth, but they do not repent of their sin.
Then Jesus comes back and kills all the evil people, and locks Satan away for 1000 years. During this period, only man’s fallen nature is a source of evil. Jesus rules with a rod of iron, so if you don’t accept Him as your Lord and Savior by age 100 you die.
In spite of this fantastic environment, when Satan is loosed after the 1000 years he can round up enough people to try and take Jerusalem, again. This is when Satan is thrown into the Eternal Lake of Fire, or Outer Darkness, and all his followers are finally killed.
Then comes the Great White Throne Judgement where all those who rejected Jesus, i.e. their names are not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, are judged according to their works and thrown into the Eternal Lake of Fire. Then comes the New Heavens and the New Earth, and it is a marvelous place.
So that is a synopsis of the Book of the Revelation, and that is what is going to happen. It is going to happen soon, because Revelation 12:1-2 specifies a “great sign in the heaven” and we know, from Stellarium, that that sign actually, literally will happen September 23-24, 2017.
That is only about 15 months from now. So it is time to really read you Bible and pray.
