Bloomberg’s Halperin DoJ Source: Loretta Lynch ‘Is Not Recusing Herself’
Breitbart ^ | July 1,2016 | JEFF POOR

Posted on 07/01/2016 6:54:08 AM PDT by Hojczyk

7 Friday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Bloomberg Politics Mark Halperin cited a “senior Justice Department official” who said Attorney General Loretta Lynch will not recuse herself from the investigation into presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton use of a private email while secretary of state. Critics have called on Lynch to do so after holding a private meeting with her husband former President Bill Clinton earlier this week.

Halperin also said the source does not anticipate Lynch will admit the meeting was a mistake.

“This is a senior Justice Department official who is playing down that this is anything new,” Halperin said. “Says this was the attorney general’s intention all along to let the career people decide. Quote, ‘She is not recusing herself. She is not stepping aside and does not expect that the attorney general will say it was a mistake to meet with Bill Clinton privately for 20 or 30 minutes.’”

The fix is in. If Trump wins, I hope his DOJ goes after the Clintons and all others who have conspired in their criminal enterprise.

The bad news is the traitors are getting frantic - the good news is they’re running out of time.

Republican recuse themselves - or resign - at the least hint of "impropriety." Hell, I remember a cabinet member who resigned after a joke about shoes, and another who resigned after having used an old-fashioned word for what we today call "the differently-abled."

Democrats don't recuse themselves for obvious, blatant impropriety involving multiple, severe criminal acts by a Democrat Presidential candidate.

And they certainly don't resign. Never.

At the very least Lynch needs to recuse herself from the dinner table.

Don’t understand why folks are so keen on the AG recuse herself. The decision would then go to her Deputy. Why is that an improvement? The decision cannot go to the FBI because the FBI cannot issue an indictment.

Trump should fire her and then investigate her as well. Someone has to know what was discussed in this meeting, and is smells of conspiracy.

US AG Lynch recuses herself from Clinton email case - Justice Dept
RT ^ | July 1, 2016
Posted on 7/1/2016, 6:57:24 AM by COUNTrecount

US Attorney General Loretta Lynch has recused herself from deciding whether Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will be charged in the classified email investigation, following outrage over the AG’s private Monday meeting with Bill Clinton, the justice department announced Friday morning.

The announcement comes in the wake of accusations that the Obama appointee has a conflict of interest in the case, after she met with the former president on her government plane while on the tarmac of Phoenix, Arizona’s Sky Harbor Airport on Monday.

Lynch will discuss the decision during an interview on Friday morning at the Aspen Ideas Festival, an anonymous DOJ official said.

Normally, the AG and other DOJ officials would have the final say in bringing charges in an investigation, but Monday’s 30 minute meeting is thought to have led to the change in protocol.

Although Lynch stressed the two did not discuss official business, she was accused of impropriety and and urged to recuse herself.

Deputy is a career officer, not a political appointee.

Is there a partisan element? Yes. But equally, liberal orgs have no interest in transparency/accountability pertaining to the Clintons.— Michael Tracey (@mtracey) July 1, 2016

The Lynch/Clinton meeting may have violated the DOJ's own ethics rules. This isn't simply a matter of "optics." https://t.co/JtNdVIRWNI— Michael Tracey (@mtracey) July 1, 2016

These stories about the Clintons always get ‘dumped out’ around weekends and holiday weekends etc. etc.

The same old controlled news release, leak pattern with the Clintons we experienced in the 1990’s.

The fix is in on media reporting of the Clintons.

but, there are other threads seemingly saying that she did in fact remove her self from the case.

That is, the Senior DOJ official is in fact wrong.

Deputy is a career officer, not a political appointee.

Lois Lerner was a career federal employee. Leftists tend to make government their 'career' choice....
