This is how it went down.

All this speculation reminds me about people trying to understand what was going on in the USSR.

It’s not like the civil service which is based on merit.

Funniest comment of the year!

Yes, maybe the meeting was all about Bill and the foundation.

“Go ahead and indict Hillary, but can you just leave me out of it? Think of ma grandchildren!”

What's even more disgusting about your scenario (Lynch on the SC), is that the wimpy McConnell would probably rubber-stamp her nomination.

Big money, big lies, big subterfuge, many territories, many big players, so many blatant clues...

How, really, can it keep holding itself together?

When seeing its coming demise becomes unavoidable, the low level players will start begging for deals.

"Obama is right — he completely transformed destroyed this country and sadly it didn’t even take 8 years. What an amazing traitorous legacy he will have."

You had a couple of typos there.

Secret airport meeting busted! Now what? I hardly think she (or anyone else in the entire Zero’s universe) is intent on doing the right thing.

As long as she is in a position of authority over the people conducting the investigation, she has not removed herself. It doesn’t matter if she accepts the decision of her underling, because the underling is likely to give her the decision she wants.

The fact that she has had at least one private meeting with Clinton is a clear signal to the people who work for her that she supports the Clintons and would like for this case to go away. How could it be otherwise?

The only way to recuse herself is to resign. Unless she resigns, she is just blowing smoke.

Her decision removes the possibility that a political appointee will overrule investigators in the case.

Unless they bring in an independent prosecutor from Fiji the whole process is corrupted.

Lynch at Justice deflects to Comey, at FBI, means what?

1. She already knows Comey is NOT going to indict.

2. She already knows Comey IS going to indict.

3. The White House wants BIDEN.

4. The president can be seen endorsing BOTH Hillary and Joe.

(Tongue in cheek musings.)

The Democrats are so cynically sexist and racist, using Loretta Lynch that way, and then excusing her ethics violations, “She doesn’t know any better”-— I find this so disgusting on every level possible. Just proving Bill’s point about Obama, “Go get me some coffee, boy.” “Just let my wife off scot-free, coffee-girl!” And why can’t these African American leader show themselves not to be affirmative action picks?

I would agree with you....this is more about maneuvering the convention to a successful conclusion that the President agrees upon. Someone has the ‘free-card’ and is simply waiting there for the FBI conclusion.

Although, I would suggest that the conclusion may come the week after the convention....where the DNC has firm control and can meet to discuss the matter internally.

As GreenHornet illustrates it would make about as much sense for Bill Clinton to have gone to Pheonix to play golf on that date as it would for him to go to skinny dipping in lake Superior on Valentine’s day. It is one of those things that can be branded a lie on first hearing, no other evidence required.

I spent some time recently watching a documentary about lying. The documentary is on line..Netflix has it and I assume others do as well. One thing that stood out to me was how people become immune to just how horrible lying is, and they even find their behavior more and more acceptable as they continue to do it.

Even stealing has a numbing effect as the behavior continues. Smaller thefts have a much greater impact than the fewer larger ones.

It became obvious to me that the high level of corruption we see in government has been going on for a very long time. The major players in these political/legal dramas who continue to protect and defend out right criminals are so blind to the impact and enormity of the “sins” going on around them that they can’t even see the wrong and injustice of their own behavior. If Mrs. Lynch can’t see the horrendous crimes committed by the Clinton’s for example, it’s because her own corruption is so deep, so far gone, that she’s become incapable of doing her job.

This whole Clinton foundation thing with huge donations from foreign governments for the privilege of acquiring top level security privileges is so far out of sack that it makes the Rosenburgs look like amatures. Yet, the people we have entrusted to keep justice and security are utterly blind to it. So blind in fact that they themselves need to be investigated. Thee blindness is a dead giveaway into severe corruption.

I think the ‘paper trail’ into the Clinton dealings is pretty deep and complicated, but it’s there none the less.

In my own personal dealings with officers at the federal level, thee is no doubt in my mind that extremely intelligent people exist who are more than capable of wading through all of those complicated details to come up with a truthful and accurate investigation from beginning to end. I know people like that exist because I’ve met a few. Wetjer or not those kinds of people are on the investigation team or not is the question along with whether or not they will be able to present the evidence in a court of law.

I think lynch is in over her head, that the possibility exists that she is incapable of rational and unbiased judgement. If she is so afflicted that she is incapable of recusing herself, then she needs to be recused independently.

Furthermore, each cabinet member serves at the pleasure of the president. His refusal to encourage deep exploration and prosecution of the issue tends to ring on my instincts, based on the info available to give me a ‘Columbo’ moment (so to speak) and wonder what role he played in probable illegal activities.

“Their blindness is a dead giveaway into severe corruption.”

The reason Nixon’s vice president, Spiro Agnew, had to resign is he happily told a few reporters about all the bribes he had taken. It was a stunning moment and he obviously had no idea what he had just done.
