Whew! What a day. Just spent 5 hours on fence. Maybe halfway there now. But no more until fall; when cools off.
WOW, triple digits again? Ice cream and popsicles help to keep one cool on hot summer days. We keep ice cream handy too :)
Yes, I will be doing the thread tomorrow night. Need to decorate the Just Hangin’ Cafe for the holiday.

There’s a chance for rain here on the 4th, too, and like up there, it’s pretty much par for the course. But the way things have gone so far this summer, it’ll probably rain everywhere in across the state BUT here.
We go to one of the towns close by for their show each year and park close to where they shoot them off. That way we’re underneath all those awesome fireworks as they color the sky.
Then we race home and park on a hill across the road from the farm. People shoot fireworks at their homes and we can see all across the county from that hill.
It was all rained out last year and we hope there isn’t a repeat this year.

That sounds like a great way to spend the day off. Sit and sip.
Sitting and sipping here - Coke rather than coffee - gathering energy to help our friends load the U-Haul this evening. Won’t be too bad since most of their belongs were destroyed in the fire and several will be there to help. Then we’ll kick back and enjoy one last evening’s visit with them.
It’s been great so far! Just finished lunch so I’m gonna go take a nap so I can be the Night Owl! ^0V0^
It’s been great so far! I don’t drink coffee either, so it’s hot tea in the mornings...I have about 12 choices...and then Diet Coke with a lime slice the rest of the day. Or Diet Lime Coke when I can find it! :)
