He should go back to making movies. I liked Heat and Last of the Mohicans.

Well according to a certain judge, we don’t need the constitution either.

There was some liberal on TV the other night, saying the science of climate change is proven because it shows last year was the warmest year on record. Never mind that the data is skewed upward because temperature monitors were moved to higher-heat heatsinks like black asphalt, near chimneys, etc. while the previous temperature monitors were in natural settings. Also that record keeping is spotty and short-term measured in decades relative to the millions of years of many changes. Michael Mann, idiot.

The effect can’t be measured but it’s true! It’s true!

I was at the Smithsonian recently, and there was an excellent exhibit on Copernicus. Mostly, it dealt with his theory of heliocentrism (sun at the center of the solar system, not the earth). It went on and on about how he was condemned as a heretic, along with Gallileo, for such a ridiculous idea.
Seeing a teaching moment, I quietly suggested to WBill Jr. that he consider this, the next time he hears, "The science is settled." about anything.
He made the connection. :-)

Mr. Mann told the panel that the signal of climate change is no longer subtle, it is obvious, citing hurricanes, flooding in Texas and South Carolina, the California drought and record heat in Arizona.
- What hurricanes? We haven't had a category 3 hurricane in 9 years.
- Flooding in Texas is not unusual. A large part of the state is coastal plain, and we don't have natural lakes to catch the runoff. When we have heavy rains, it floods. We actually just came off a multi-year period of drought in parts of Texas (http://droughtmonitor.unl.edu/Home/StateDroughtMonitor.aspx?TX, and reservoirs are full. So, the dam overflows and guess what happens?
- Drought in California? The problem is they set The problem is they haven't kept up with their demand for more water, and a huge percentage of what they do have is sequestered for "environmental" reasons.
- Record heat in AZ? The record temperature for June in Phoenix, AZ, is 122 degrees, in 1990. 2016 doesn't even show up in in the history: http://www.intellicast.com/Local/History.aspx?location=USAZ0166. In the daily history for June, the latest date is 2006-06-03.
Mann doesn't even lie well. I could counter these statements with actual facts in a few minutes.

This guy is an elitist moron.
I remember having to go to PSU for work (early to mid 1990s) and our group received a set of briefings about AGW. You could tell something was off, even back then.
Amazing how intuition works out, even back then.

He should have said “data are irrelevant”.
Datum is singular, data are plural.

He would have soot-dusted the polar caps in the 1970’s to prevent global cooling, I bet.

.
Michael Mann is no scientist!
He is a highly biased academician, totally unqualified to even comment on science.

How can you be a scientist if you don’t even use the scientific method?

Hey Mr. Mann, you stupid ass. The climate has always been changing. It changes back and forth, from cold to hot and from hot to cold. Get it? It has nothing to do with mankind and that's provable science.
Scammers like you don't listen to anything that disproves your leftist scheme to fleece the worlds taxpayers. In fact, just go straight to hell you frikkin' creep. The good people of the world are not going to put up with you for much longer. Your days lying to the world are numbered.
