On Thursday morning’s CNN Newsroom, host Carol Costello brought on Erich Pratt, executive director for Gun Owners of America to argue with him about guns as the root cause of violence in the U.S. Unfortunately for Costello, her guest had facts ready to combat the journalist’s agenda and ably argued his point to where Costello had nothing left to defend her case.

Pratt then pointed out that other countries have far stricter gun laws but have much higher rates of murder, like in Japan where suicide rates are astronomical. “Actually, our murder rate is not even in the top 100 of countries around the world. And the top 100 countries, guess what, they have much stricter gun control than we do,” he responded.
The pair ended in disagreement over the facts, as Costello promised to “check his stats” and get back to him.

An armed society is a polite society.
“Facts” don’t matter to the Liberals and the liberal media when they go against their goal of gun restrictions.
The American people are fed up. At some point, the MSM will figure that out.

There in three short sentences is the mass media response to Erich Pratt, John Lott and anyone or any study that disagrees with Democrats.
Relatives, part of the Chicago lib machine, just visited. They observed that people don’t lock cars and homes up as an automatic habit. It’s because everyone knows how many firearms are present to respond to lawbreakers. Makes for a peaceful culture.
The press knows full well the people are fed up but propaganda is what they are paid to spew and it is done with their full knowledge and willingness without a gun to their heads.

Once again for the liberal who is reading this thread with dismay; ‘gun control’ is about (total) control and not about safety or anything else to do with guns.
The goal of total control cannot be reached with an armed populace.
Any person who votes dem for a social reason is voting for slavery. Sounds harsh and over the top but it is literally true.
Everyone must have seen by now the list of dictators whose initial actions ‘for safety’ registered and then collected all the firearms from the nation they were about to subjugate. Mass murder followed in short order.
People who survived the Holocaust speak out on this. People who survived any of many communist regimes speak out on this.
Anyone who votes dem thinking that the only the other ‘bad’ guys gun will be taken but not theirs is worse than a fool, they are a useful idiot and will likely be killed first.
The oppressing party cannot have the people who helped and aided them in their takeover around because betrayed people have explosive anger. Has any one heard of ‘Woman scorned’?

I'm saving a copy of Pratt's interview, but you can bet it'll never make it into any liberal's reading list. It doesn't support their agenda.
