The US has been warned about its high poverty rate in the International Monetary Fund's annual assessment of the economy. The fund said about one in seven people were living in poverty and that it needed to be tackled urgently. It recommended raising the minimum wage and offering paid maternity leave to women to encourage them to work.

My husband lost his job about 4 years ago and no one came forward to ask him for another one - although he asked. He ended up working for Lyft and Uber and making a pittance while having our car ruined by obnoxious passengers and confused deer.
30 years ago under Reagan, he would have had multiple job offers but thanks to that monster, Obama, he had NOTHING offered to him.
Thankfully, God came through as He does on occasion and we are now free to retire and live happily ever after - unless Hillary gets in.
Lagarde is a very good example of what’s wrong in the world.
As some pointed out, there are other bad things in the world besides Lagarde, but most of those aren’t quoted in the news every 5 minutes.
