Socialism failing to work as it always does, this time in Venezuela, Scully said. You talk about giving everybody something free and all of a sudden theres no food to eat. And who do you think is the richest person in Venezuela? The daughter of Hugo Chavez. Hello. Anyway. Oh and two.
this is his final year. he’s letting it rip.
I think Vin is 88 or maybe even 89 years old.
PC Goon Squad can’t scare him.
It depends on if you’re in the club. If you’re in the club socialism is great. And it works every time it’s tried.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Vin Scully he is a LEGEND here in LA God Bless him!!!
The best ever.
Ha! Put that in ur pipe and take a milky drag! Go Vin. Go Trump!!!
Scully is the only person that can make Dodger Baseball enjoyable, yeah Im an Angels fan(We stink but still support them)
There’ll never be another like Vin Scully.
I remember my dad listening to him in the late 50’s.
ou go Vinny! I bet you are voting for the Donald!
88 years young and still broadcasting!
That'd be just about the time I stopped listening to him.
So, he'll be fired, if ESPN has anything to say about it.
Vin Scully is 88. I wish he could talk some sense into my dad, who’s 86.
It pains me no end that my dad can’t see the donks for what they really are. He won’t listen to me. I’m just a 63 year old kid.
I, similar to thousands of other young boys, vividly remember going to bed with our little transistor radio . . . listening to that voice painting a beautiful picture in our minds of the action on the field.
Mr.Vin Scully then as now always spoke of values and ethics. But it was always in terms of sports. He would call a player out for not running a play out to first base. He would describe the hustle and effort of others. He would share stories of team play, sacrifce and the desire for excellence.
I miss that very much today
If it was just about anyone else, I'd agree with you, but Vin Scully is pretty much untouchable. Besides, firing him over this would bring a lot more attention to his remarks, and that's the last thing the left wants.
I grew up listening to Vinnie and love him to death, However, As much as I agree with what he said: he should leave all politics out of his repertoire.
Not quite to Howard Cosell’s level of political commentary.
