You make all good points. Mocking everything, hating everything is the stuff that makes the news from that community. Frankly, I don’t think gays as a class are likely to be all that hateful. More the activists, the DebbieWSchultzes of the gay political world. For myself, one who would distance himself from the gay lifestyle, to put it cordially, I was shocked at this massacre and severely distressed that so many Americans were killed by that monster. Upon reflection, I found (to my relief) that it did not matter to me that these were gays. Their lives meant as much to me as a similar attack on a Christian Easter service. I did read later that gay leadership, such as it is, excoriated people like me for caring (Anderson Cooper). C’mon, A**, Cooper. You can be against the killing of gay Americans without being for, say, gay marriage. I don’t believe the average soul from that community would feel the same as these activists with their agendi.

I don’t think I saw the speech, not sure. I saw part of the one in Dallas, until they cut in with Hillary. Watched her until I couldn’t stand it any more. I despise that woman but I need to know what she says. And it ain’t good...
The Dallas speech was good, he had fun with a couple of protesters, one in a cowboy hat, said that gave him the idea to put Make America Great Again on a cowboy hat.

Anyway I usually don’t have to see the speech, watch what the media says and turn it around backwards, I’ll pretty close to what he actually said.
A good example is Obama and Hillary both saying Trump wants to ban all muslims...no, he said temporary ban on all immigration from countries with a history of terrorist activity. The first time, he did say temporary ban on muslims, since then he rephrased it and made it more specific.
I sometimes wonder if the first version might just be to beat them at their own game and get it into the news...free coverage...then refine it later into a more specific and common sense policy.
