Soon to be replaced by an Islamic flag. And no sarcasm tag.

Well lets see what the “Good ole Boys” in the Bible belt have to say about this.
Them all being Southern Baptist and all.....

Was a Muslim homo going on a jihadi murder rampage in the name of the caliphate the last straw for them?

(Yeah, not much makes sense these days)

Southern Baptist churches in the United States will no longer display the Confederate battle flag.

Since when have churches been displaying the Battle Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia?

I have never heard of such a thing.

I was wondering about that. When the heat is on will the crosses come down too.

Where does the SBC usually display their confederate flags? I think all I’ve ever seen are US flags on flag poles for any church.

“RESOLVED, That we call our brothers and sisters in Christ to discontinue the display of the Confederate battle flag as a sign of solidarity of the whole Body of Christ, including our African-American brothers and sisters”

Of course, they can keep in their sanctuaries the flag of a country that aborts babies and extols homosexuality.

How about THIS one? The left seems perfectly okay with it, and not a threat whatsoever (even though IT IS):

I’ve never heard of it either. But the SBC cannot, CANNOT, tell individual churches what to do. They have independent authority.

You write that because of a flag that represents a breakaway set of states 150 years ago. That flag holds no spiritual significance at all and does not belong in a church. Besides, I have never seen that flag in any church I have been in - have you.

I repeat, that flag holds zero spiritual meaning and shouldn't be in a church. You are confused.

The Rebel Flag has died, the Stars & Stripes has been usurped. If Trump loses in November I am hauling down the Stars & Stripes and raising the Christian Cross flag. I will be in in rebellion.

I did a Bing search on the string “confederate flag lapel pins for sale” and found many sources.
