Adverts promoting negative body images will be banned across the Transport for London (TfL) network from next month. As part of his mayoral election manifesto Sadiq Khan pledged to ban adverts promoting "unhealthy or unrealistic" body images. The advertising watchdog received 378 complaints in 2015 about a weight-loss advert that asked customers if they were "beach body ready?" Mr Khan has now asked TfL to set up its own advertising steering group. The Protein World "beach body ready" promotional posters were defaced in Tube stations and a petition was started calling for the adverts to be banned, however the Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) watchdog later ruled the advert depicting a bikini-clad female model was neither offensive nor irresponsible.
The steering group will advise TfL's advertising partners and stakeholders of the mayor's new policy and will ensure adverts continue to adhere to the regulations set out by the ASA. Mr Khan said:
"As the father of two teenage girls, I am extremely concerned about this kind of advertising which can demean people, particularly women, and make them ashamed of their bodies. It is high time it came to an end."

From a Christian historical perspective, Islam is an Antichrist religion. According to 1 John 2:22 (22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.). Islam is Satan's response to Christianity. He had 600 years to plan his strategy to counter Christ Jesus, and Satan has progressively implemented this strategy for the last 1400 years. Only truth has saved the western world from Islam's cruel grip. Since the west has now jettisoned truth, Islam (like an opportunistic virus) is rushing in to take over the sick host. We can thank our political leaders and our so-called Christian Leaders like Rick Warren, Pope Francis, Pope John Paul II, Robert Schuller, Joel Osteen, and others for leading us down this path by saying Christians and Muslims worship the same god. Nothing is further from the truth.

If fat people live longer than skinny people, then will all body images have to be fat?
If you happen to have a body that matches the image that is banned, isn’t that offensive to you?

Sure...but two different root motivations. That is why the Mayor’s wife now wears a Hijab. Before he won the election, she did not wear one

Just like New Yorkers elected Comrade de Blasio, the residents of Londonistan elected this erstwhile goat herder. I hope they live long enough, and suffer enough from their actions, to come to their senses and retake their city. May the Lord have mercy on them.
