FORT PIERCE — At least four regular customers at the Orlando gay nightclub where a gunman killed 49 people said Monday that they had seen Omar Mateen there before.
"Sometimes he would go over in the corner and sit and drink by himself, and other times he would get so drunk he was loud and belligerent," Ty Smith said.

Smith told the Orlando Sentinel that he saw Mateen inside at least a dozen times.
"We didn't really talk to him a lot, but I remember him saying things about his dad at times," Smith said. "He told us he had a wife and child."
When asked about those sightings, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said he had no information.
Another Pulse regular, Kevin West, told the Los Angeles Times that Mateen messaged him on and off for a year using a gay chat app.
They had never met, West said, but he watched as Mateen entered the club about 1 a.m. Sunday, an hour before the shooting began.

Cord Cedeno and Chris Callen are other Pulse customers who told the Sentinel they had seen Mateen in the nightclub.
Callen said he had witnessed violent outbursts by Mateen.
"It was definitely him. He'd come in for years, and people knew him," Cedeno said.

I went to a Stand With Orlando rally last night. A tremendous crowd — 750 people, on such short notice -— especially for Johnson City, TN.
The MC told the crowd “Today, we’re all gay— today we’re all LGBT”: an identity of perversion, and I do not believe in that. The song chosen to warm up the crowd was “Imagine” (”Imagine there’s no country -— no possessions -— no religion —— no Heaven”): a creed of denials, and I do not believe in that, either.
I believe the Word of God will stand forever, and His Word is what I had on my sign: “Thou Shalt Not Kill.” And I got a lot of “Thanks-you’s” and huge hugs from mascara’ed boys gone silly and sloppy women gone butch. It all goes to show that, despite what divides us, it’s possible to share a degree of respect and understanding.
And you know what? I believe in that.

Yes. The media now wants us to forget they reported he had cased Disney as well. As usual, they are spoon feeding us a crap-load of lies.
He claimed he was upset about gays kissing. Perhaps it was his gay lover kissing someone else that set him off.

So the club was familiar territory for a mass shooting. Makes sense.
My guess is his handlers were expecting him to hit Disney World, which he also cased. Attacking the gay club though is what he really wanted.
