Is the University of Wisconsin-Madison running the risk of having minority students viewed as being coddled and overprotected from “seemingly minor or unintentional” slights?
gotprivilegeIs it creating an environment where the slightest statement or action could provoke a finger-pointing witch hunt for students who are accused of insensitivity?
Is it encouraging minority students to become hyper-sensitive to the point where people of different skin colors are afraid to associate openly and freely, without having their speech constantly monitored for words that might upset someone?
The university has announced that it will require about 1,000 incoming students to participate in “cultural competency training” this fall, at a cost ranging between $150,000 and $200,000, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.

Does this mean that University is paying $150-$200k to implement the . . . um . . . training? Or are they adding that amount to each students' tuition bill?
I remember on Star Trek the Borg. This is almost the same as what is happening in today’s world. You must assimilate.

Will part of this training be:
- All whites are not racist, dont treat them like they are.
- When you get a bad grade, fail a test, have your grammar corrected, fail a course, are arrested for doing drugs, are told to turn the music down in your dorm, cant find a seat in the cafeteria, cant find a parking space, get a parking ticket, have your car towed, hear a southern accent, etc, etc, etc, ITS NOT RACISM.
- You are not special because you are a minority.
- Being “a diversity enhancement” is not an accomplishment.
- Society does not owe you a living.
It will have the opposite effect
White and Asian kids will just withdraw from any contact with blacks. Why bother? Just ignore them so the snowflakes won’t be so “offended”
Conservative White students should be warned that they will be under attack at universities such as this one. Spend your time and your parents’ money elsewhere.Employers should avoid hiring students who have been indoctrinated in these anti-capitalist, anti-American universities.
There was an incident earlier this year where students
chanting war cries out their dorm windows disrupted a
Native American ceremony. I wonder if that played any
role in the university’s decision.
1) Know some Shakespeare
2) know some Beethoven
3) know the Bible
4) know some pre-20th century poetry
5) name 5 Greek philosophers
6) name 5 Roman emperors
7) summarize the purpose of the US Constitution

There’s none of this b.s. at Franklin Pierce University where my son goes. It wouldn’t be tolerated.

Make no mistake these courses are aimed at whites and reinforces the attitude that whites are racist and dont know how to behave around other groups. Its another shot fired in the War on Whites.
We are now in an age in which a university degree stands a fair chance of indicating that the holder does NOT have an education sufficient for survival in a technical world.
It may be time to seriously consider reducing the number of universities since they are pretty much a joke. Ironically, it appears that the ones considered to be the “best” are in fact the worst.
Remember when GM was considered to be good?

Remember when Harvard and Yale were considered to be good?

Call me crazy but I’m willing to bet that those very important facts you listed will absolutely not be tolerated nor allowed anywhere near such re-education training courses.
A hundred people can agree that the moon is made of green cheese, and they can chant it out loud for hours, but that will never make it so. Their only recourse is to work to change everyone else’s opinion to theirs and they will do it any way they can, even if it means violence, because they have to have power and they have to be right. Once the moon is considered green cheese by everyone, the agitators will find another project.

I can assure you that my children, when the time comes, will not be attending any institution that requires such “training”

I dont for 1 second believe that any of those items on my list will be included.
I used to work for a large corporation that required similar training courses on diversity and other nonsense. One instructor was unfortunate enough to have me and another big mouth sceptic in the same class. We pointed out so many contradictions and stereotypes in her presentation that she ended the session early. It was the most fun I ever had in training.
