An American-born man who'd pledged allegiance to ISIS gunned down 50 people early Sunday at a gay nightclub in Orlando, the deadliest mass shooting in the United States and the nation's worst terror attack since 9/11, authorities said.
* The gunman, Omar Mateen, 29, of Fort Pierce, Florida, was interviewed by the FBI in 2013 and 2014 but was not found to be a threat, the FBI said.
* Mateen called 911 during the attack to pledge allegiance to ISIS and mentioned the Boston Marathon bombers, according to a U.S. official.
* Orlando police shot and killed Mateen.

I heard someone saying earlier this evening that 9 people who were wounded and in the hospital have since died of their wounds. I don’t know if they were already counted in the 50 or whether the count is up to 59 now. Since many of those wounded are said to have serious head or chest wounds, the death toll is bound to rise over the coming days.
I’ve been wondering about this aspect all day. I think the death toll must be going upwards of 50 for sure, because at the first morning press conference the count was at 50 and the doctor on the presser said that “many” of the wounded victims at the hospitals were “critically ill” .... which means head wounds and/or severe bleeding, organ damage etc. So I think the death toll must be going well above 50 by now, but whatever the exact number may be it is a horrible thing.
Isnt it strange that the number is still 50 ? None of the 53 wounded died?
That’s weird. The omnipotent lyin’ king must have misread the teleprompter cause he didn’t mention it. Neither did the hildabama. Well except to say that moose-limbs are not in any way evil terrorists. FAIL!
Don’t know how accurate the 50/53 estimate was/is. It will certainly. Hopefully lower.
Sadly, I think the figure of 50 dead was just the initial figure and I noticed in several articles they mentioned that many of the wounded had severe wounds and may die, raising the total killed in the attack.
Since the controlled media is trying very hard to seize control of the narrative, perhaps it’s time for people on our side to double down.
Perhaps it’s time to start referring to the victims of this act of terror as the ORLANDO MARTYRS.
Because really, they ARE martyrs. Martyrs to over a half century of the most ill-conceived and suicidally stupid attempts at social engineering in history, namely ‘Political Correctness’ and ‘Tolerance’, which have now proven to have just as much accuracy as Orwell’s ministries of Peace, Love, Truth, and Plenty.
Wait till Obama ups the death toll to 57, just like the 57 states of America, or the 57 nations in the Islamic States Organization.
He might also criticize the 57 round magazine the killer used. And don’t forget, he likes Heinz’s 57 flavors as does Kerry.

We do not need gun control, we need to ban Islam in the United States. It is not compatible with western civilization and our US Constitution. Muslims must be deported to Islamic countries.
There maybe more than one gunman as well and they are still at large.

What does this mean?
It means that any Sunni Moslem can be turned to killing in the name of Islam, inspired by the re-creation of the Caliphate. This means that any Sunni Moslem -- even, probably especially a new convert (can be a blue-eyed blonde convert or a black or a Chinese or a native American) will kill in the name of the IS.
There is no way to guard against this philosophy by profiling -- while you can profile an Arab, the IS may prompt a Swedish convert or a Japanese or Chinese or Nigerian to do the deed. The all-American looking boy next to you may turn out to be the perpetrator next time

With all my heart I forgive my enemies.” Finally, as the firing squad took aim, Padre Pro said in a calm and steady voice, “¡Viva Cristo Rey!” “Long live Christ the King!”
These people, while victims of the massacre were not given some kind of "change your mind or die" choice and they were not standing up to someone/anything.
Dila — there are white converts to Islam as well — and there are whites who are born and brought up Moslem — look at the Bosnians who are ethnically Serbs or Albanians etc.
And meanwhile libs are screaming for more gun control. I was just reading a non political board on which they are demanding a ban on “automatic” and “semi automatic” guns.
That is one well informed crowd.
