Extra, Extra! Republican Paul Ryan is an advocate for political correctness! That’s right. In commenting about Trump’s remarks concerning Judge Curiel, Ryan told George Stephanopoulos:
“That comment is beyond the pale. That’s not political correctness. Suggesting that a person can’t do their job because of their race or ethnicity… that’s not a politically incorrect thing to do; that’s just a wrong thing to say.”
For decades, conservatives and other decent, law-abiding Americans, have labored under the yoke of political correctness. They have been publicly shunned, lost jobs, had careers ruined, and been kicked out of universities. Why? Simply for exercising their First Amendment rights: speaking their minds, expressing their thoughts, gathering at events, creating works of art, donating to a political initiative, and adhering to long-held religious beliefs.
The PC culture has held this country back; not moved it forward. It is the driving force behind the DOJ’s inquisition against so-called climate deniers. It has prevented us from finding solutions to problems plaguing the country. And, it has created several generations who don’t know how to critically think for fear of saying the wrong thing and paying the price for it.

Actually Trump said nothing terrible, didn’t compromise national security, didn’t cause the death of Americans in Bemghazi, didn’t accept bribes from foreign governments, doesn’t demand more Syrian immigrants. Do we hear Ryan scream about those issues? I sure haven’t. In fact, Ryan is okay with Muslims bringing their rape culture and attacks on freedom of speech to the USA.
What Trump is doing picking a fight with this judge is brilliant. It has nothing to do with his particular case, or even this particular judge, although he has chosen his target well. Instead, it has everything to do with a common man's perception that judges are prejudiced ideologues, who rulings are based not on an impartial reading of the law, but on their own political agenda. Whether that's true or not is irrelevant; that's what the average person believes. By picking this fight, Trump is doing to the priesthood of the black robe what he did to the priesthood of the media, saying what everyone thinks, but no one dares to say publically except over a beer among friends. Trump continues to be the true, unfiltered, and politically incorrect vox populi, and his critics on the left and the right shrink that much smaller for toeing the PC line.

Last I checked “Mexican” was a nationality not a race. It would have been more entertaining if Trump had said the judge had a “Spanish” sounding name. That would have made it awkward for his detractors to argue their opinions without acknowledging the cultural motivations of the La Raza affiliated judge.
