This event could at some point be considered the American version of Kristallnacht where the government and police condone the violent beatings and attacks on a group of Americans who do not think correctly in the eyes of the new brown shirt socialist/communist eyes.
If this bigoted abuse and violence by the radical left and government continues those being persecuted will eventually have no choice but to fight back and once you get outside the military those being attacked have a hell of a lot more firepower than the police and the brown shirt liberals doing these attacks. Once you push people so far and they say enough all it takes is the first trigger pull, then there is no putting the genie back in the bottle or turning back, it is on for all the marbles.

A FOIA request for all communication between the mayor and chief of police is needed. It is quite possible that this inaction by the police was planned.
A few years ago stayed in a San Jose motel for a couple of nights. You would be surprised at how aggressive the police were in checking out potential hookers on the streets. One must have priorities I guess.
Translation: Cops forced Trump supporters to walk four blocks in a giant circle to get to the back of the convention center garage in order to string them out and isolate them, and then abandoned all police presence at the garage entry area where the paid thugs were waiting for them.
This was a deliberate setup for attacks, organized and created by the Chief of Police and the Mayor, in order to put Trump supporters into direct physical harm. Trump should be screaming about the details of this betrayal.
