Without You, we can rely only on our own, inadequate human strength. We cannot be truly victorious separated from You. But because You are with us, we do not fear, no matter what happens. You care. You carry our burdens. You deliver us out of destructions. You comfort us. We can do all things not through our own efforts, but through Jesus Christ Who strengthens us.
We pray that our military men and women would be strengthened by You this day---each in his own way, according to Your knowledge off them as their Creator. And may Your Name be glorified in each life as they learn to rely on You to see them through the good days and the not so good.
Bless Your people, Israel, Lord with Your protection and with the desire to know the Savior You have sent for all people. Lead our nation away from the dangerous and sinful territory we have entered. We need You, Lord. Give our pastors the strength and courage to speak the truth about social issues according to Your Word.
We acknowledge You as the Answer to everything we face---as a people and as a nation, both now and forever. Be exalted, Gracious Lord, above the heavens. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
