The L.A. County Board of Supervisors is planning to put a proposal on the November ballot that would impose a .5% tax for those with personal incomes exceeding $1 million annually. The revenue generated from the tax—estimated to be $250 to $300 million annually—would go toward funding the county’s 47-point program to wipe out homeless in L.A. county.

It’s not California. It’s the American hating deviate corrupt running LA City, SF etc.

Very similar to your own fed gov. They’re all in the same limo.

The well-connected and the idle rich always like to take regular American’s hard-earned money for their pet causes. It is nice to think that they feel the robbery too. However, like all other taxes on the rich they will carve out exceptions and I’ve several decades only working stiffs will be paying these types of taxes.

The income tax was originally sold as a tax on the rich and look how that worked out.

Should clear the small businesses out.

Why don’t they tax the wealthy; the folks sitting on 100’s of millions with their spending money doled out of their tax-exempt funds.

I’ve got an idea - tax the homeless! They will soon disappear when that happens.

They could have the homeless move into the multiple homes of the celebrities who hate America.

It will start out at a half percent. Which of course will not be enough. No amount is ever enough.

The bureaucrats and electeds will do very well, and the homeless will still be homeless. But the rich in L.A. are the Hollywood types, so let them knock themselves out sticking it to them, they’re too stupid to realize they’re being taken to the cleaners.

A One-half- of-one percent tax? That wouldn’t generate enough money to attempt to collect it. Where do they come up with these outrageous estimates of how much money they will be able to expropriate?

Because those are the people financing their campaigns. Got to be real nice to them.

That’s a great idea. Just confiscate one quarter of every thing that’s in their shopping cart and see how quickly they find homes.

That’s the Marxism you get when you elect communists, Marxists, anti-American Hispanics and blacks and a few racist Asians to the LA City council, or Oakland’s or SF’s.

Tax the rich, until they pick up and leave, taking their money with them.

I hear parts of Texas have low crime rates and low tax rates, if any.

Calling the San Andreas Fault. Calling the Mendicino Fault.

Do you “thang” with gusto, Sodom and Gommorah style.
