Good morning, ML...((HUGS))...hope your weather has dried out.
I would think it would be pretty cold to replace them this soon after the tragedy. Of course, I don’t have all those people wanting to see entertainment. LOL!
"Despite Thursday's fatal crash, the air show has been set to continue through the weekend, but the Blue Angels would not be part of the show. Also, Middle Tennessee State University was supposed to host a lecture by the Blue Angels, but it was cancelled. However, a representatives from the U-S Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team will appear instead."
I didn't hear the news report correctly and the Blue Angels aren't being replaced at the air show. When they spoke of a replacement, it was for the lecture at MTSU.

I spent an hour on the phone with Drumbo this evening. He misses being able to plays tunes, but he’s been, and is still, a caregiver for an old friend, one of the guys that is to be in the bad he’s getting together.

Drumbo’s STILL taking care of his friend? I didn’t realize it was going to be for this long. But then, my memory stinks. LOL!
I guess that means Drumbo’s doing well himself these days since he’s able to help his friend. Sure would be nice if all could get in tip-top shape so they could get the band going again.
Yes, we got rain today - - - an inch and a half. That’s how much we got the entire month of May! Needless to say we’re thrilled. Good chances for more through Sunday.
The bad part is there’s a car show scheduled for Sat. that I planned to enter Baby in. That plan’s been shot out the door.

I intentionally didn’t point that out. LOL! Hey, it’s late and it’s excusable.
Surgery went ok, but he spent 18 days in the hospital and ended up with a bad staph infection and 2 more weeks in the hospital. Drumbo is giving injections of antibiotics every 8 hours around the clock and the specific procedure takes about a half hour...shaking and flushing and injecting and flushing, etc.

Oh man!! Those staph infections are nasty business! I hope this is one that can be knocked out.
