Times have certainly changed.
***The Clap was Chlamydia.***
Everyone I know called Gonorrhea the “clap”. Back in those days there was only two STD. Syphilis and Gonorrhea.
Then I read a book EVERYTHING YOU WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT SEX:(But were afraid to ask), and I found there are quite a few different real nasty STDs out there, some even worse than those two! This was before AIDS and HIV.
We have to look at the reasons the Bible says such things about immorality:
“Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body.”
They knew there would be consequences to the body in the form of sexually transmitted disease. Humans beings need to protect their body from fertility killing diseases and activities that prevent even the production of the next generation. Homosexuality is like giving yourself the Darwin Award where you short circuit the transmission of your genetics to future generations.
It so pathetic that people are so ignorant of such things as Natural Law and Biblical teachings.
Except I CAN expect him to be. We have been friends since we were 3, best friends in Jr High and High School (I was the first one he told when he got his first kiss), married for 20 years, work together and are together 24/7/365. Aside from all that, the man is Jiminy Cricket

Read one of those "hot for teacher" threads that seem to draw the morality-scoffers thick and fast.
While the outbreak started in straight couples,
...
Sure, I believe that.
Homosexuals don't have wombs or give birth.
The increasing numbers of woman teachers having sex with very young boys is a gateway phenomenon for things to come. When this situation occurs, men will say it is something they dreamed about when their young bodies were experiencing sexual development. Well, that kind of tolerance will be used to justify pedophilia. When pedophilia is pushed through because of those sexy teachers giving those “lucky” boys the romp of their lives, we will rue that day we let them slip such acceptance through. We will not know the ultimate consequences of the development. That is because we don’t get information about what happens in places where pedophilia is being practices. Muslim nations come to mind here and, it is not just very young girls. It is young boys.
Mohammad says that Allah has no problem with pedophilia. He practiced it and the Muslim wants the world to enjoy what he enjoyed. Then there is rape, which is another subject.
I just love overly-simplistic generalizations!
A major problem reported in Europe (and certainly coming to America), is the victims of ROP-Rapists (male and female victims) are being infected with all manner of STD's and possibly with HIV, as well.
Reportedly, the Muslim "Immigrants" are rife with all sorts of transmissible diseases.
So avoiding "Casual Sex", marrying a virgin (especially if you are a 60-year-old widower looking to remarry), and other such ideas aren't exactly bullet-proof.
Plus, if you are male, you could marry a nice girl who has returned from a year in a third-world country as a missionary, or a Peace Corps volunteer, or Red Cross volunteer, etc; I believe they only get raped by the locals about six times per tour of duty. And they are admonished by their organizations to not talk about the victimization, because it would make it harder to recruit new volunteers. Gee - ya think?
Rape. That's a problem. What are you gonna do about that? Especially when the government covers it up?
Godzillarhea.
We're doomed.
Here’s an overly-simplistic generalization for you: I’m chaste, a hermit, and live in a small town out west where, I think, few potential rapists will show any interest in my 61 YO kafir body whatsoever. Rather untouchable by STDs indeed. Of course, one could become infected through an unusual non-sexual vector, but then it isn’t an STD.
Youch. Looks like that would hurt.
Half of homosexual have wombs -— the women, of course! -— and not a few lesbians give birth.
Why wouldn’t you believe it? 95%+ of our species are heterosexuals.
Still not bullet proof but those two steps right there have cut the spread dramatically.
Hint: they're NOT just like us.
So I am still puzzled.
However, STD's are a BIG problem among heterosexual people who are not chaste.
(Note I'm not saying "celibate," I'm saying chaste. Which for the present discussion means: sexually abstinent and continent if unmarried, completely faithful to one's spouse if married.)
Heterosexual women on any kind of hormonal contraception --- oral, implant, transdermal, or injectable --- have huge rates of gonorrhea, because so many of them tend to be promiscuous (they figure pregnancy is no longer a concern) AND they don't use condoms (they figure their hormonal drugs/devices will do the trick.)
The disease exposure to unchaste heterosexual women is huge.
Number wise, gonorrhea correlates much more to age (young) and number of sexual partners (multiple) than to whether the person is straight or gay. Although OBVIOUSLY wildly promiscuous gay men have far higher RATES of STD's, young unchaste heterosexuals still have far higher NUMBERS.

The numbers tell the story.
