What an outrageous situation.... DOZENS of Secret Service officials abusing their confidential access to personnel records.

We have an administration that abuses critics via the most sensitive federal agencies (IRS, Secret Service, etc.)

“Some level of discipline” is probably 3 months paid leave. People in the private sector would be fired for this, and have a very hard time finding new employment.

“The discipline ranges from a letter of reprimand to suspensions from duty without pay for periods of up to 45 days.”

Slap. On. The. Wrist.

Trump should jump on this as a way to remind people of Hillary’s little Filegate problem.....

The agents must have know what they were doing was wrong. Yes, the Barry admin is corrupt but...the agents should have said no. They didnt. They should have been fired.

All of the federal government agencies are undisciplined, lawless and out of control, IMHO. Thanks Obama.

Not for long. Obama is making sure employers, landlords and college admissions offices can't do criminal background checks.

“The IG found that the internal agency data search was launched just 18 minutes after a hearing chaired by Chaffetz slammed the Secret Service for lax discipline and poor performance.”

18 minutes? Wow.

"Some level of discipline"

Should be criminal prosecutions. This speaks to separation of powers between co-equal branches of government. Congress had best protect it's powers jealously.

SS agent applicants can now be felons. No background checks.

Wikipedia says, “Chaffetz’s paternal grandfather was Maxwell (Max) Chaffetz (1909-1986), an FBI Special Agent, who as a rookie was involved in the apprehension of gangster Baby Face Nelson and the gunning down of gangster John Dillinger.” So the guy has history with domestic national security, and wants to keep the agency trustworthy. Where’s the respect?

One of the biggest security threats to our country is the past three generations of unchurched, dumbed-down products of our Marxist education system. We have so much work to do to repair this mess. Trump wants Dr. Carson involved in education. While I agree that the Feds should not be demanding indoctrination, I do think some reparatory courses in classical American civics and strict Constitutional interpretation would be not only beneficial to children, but also to anyone running for public office.

The SS goes the IRS route.

Wow, obama the corrupter of all that is good strikes again.

Assuming that a Trump presidency comes to pass, I would hope that the unemployment lines are overloaded with ex-federal employees come February 2017.

The crime doesn’t surprise me. They have been working under the most corrupt administration in history and that mindset has a conditioning affect on others who have anything to do with the WH. If my boss does the same or worse, why can’t I???
