Trump should have asked for $100 million. Any one of the cable news outfits would have paid.

Sanders doesn’t have $10M.

Makes Trump look like he didn’t mean it, doesn’t really want to do it.

Sorry, it does.

I’d personally pay a nice chunk of change to see that!

That’s what we’re in for.

A Summer filled with PT Barnum shows to keep Hillary off-balance, discombobulated, and on defense.

Welcome to the Thunderdome, Hillary.

Are you really this ignorant? The money comes from the network profits - not out of their own pockets.

Sanders is broke, but the $$$ would be coming from the tv station.

doesn’t matter, Trump doesn’t have to debate anyone. It’s pretty clear to everyone that we have a choice between an America first candidate and two commies.

If you all remember, Jimmy Carter refused to debate John Anderson and sat on the sidelines while Ronald Reagan debated him instead.

Didn't work out too well for Jimmy Carter.

Trump did not say that Sanders has to pay $10 million — anyone, any organization could provide the funds, he just wants the funds for charity.

He is under no obligation to debate Sanders.

I see some articles saying no, Donald was just joking about debating Bernie. I see others saying Donald is ‘looking forward’ to debating Bernie.

I don’t know what to conclude, except that Donald has once again found a way to create a meaty story that must be discussed. Donald is done with Megyn for now. We know enough about her by now. Trump has created a market for this event that did not exist before today, and he’s done so without spending any money on ads. PRICELESS!!$

Sanders’ campaign has raised $208 million thus far. Plus neither Trump nor Sanders would be paying. That would be the media for coverage and the audience.

Sanders doesn't have $10 million

Trump has explained how it works when he first came up with the idea months ago. Any network that broadcasts this will make a fortune on advertising revenue. They'd donate the $10 million from their profits.

“Trump did not say that Sanders has to pay $10 million — anyone, any organization could provide the funds, he just wants the funds for charity.”

You didn’t read the article, did you? Trump said exactly that.

It was Kimmel who brought up the idea of a TV network putting up the money.

See below from the article:

“So if it was done for charity you would agree to do that?” Kimmel asked.

“If he paid a nice sum for the charity, I would love to do that,” Trump responded.

When asked if the hypothetical network were to put up the money for the charity, Trump welcomed that as a possibility as well.

I’d love to see it, but it looks like Trump was just talking out of his you-know-what.

I think that he meant that the venue would pay for it — CNN, Fox News, etc.

A while back, he was complaining about how much CNN made from the debates.
